“I’ll always tell you the truth and give you the facts that are in your best interest. I never want to be that realtor who makes promises they can’t keep just to get a contract – that’s not fair to you. I’m invested in my clients, my career and my community – I’m not just making a sale or purchase, I’m getting to know a new neighbour!”
Although I’ve been working in the real estate industry since 2004, I really grew up in the business. My mom, Jo Ann Steen, was a long-time South Delta realtor and I can remember delivering her flyers on my bike, and putting “Sold” stickers on her signs at a very early age.
I grew up in Tsawwassen, and I love South Delta so much that I chose to move back here after years of university and travel to work and raise my family. My family still enjoy's the same strong sense of community, safety, and connection to nature that I had growing up.
There is a lot for families and kids to do here. My dad, Bill Steen, was a permanent fixture in South Delta Minor Hockey, but while my brother grew up around the ice rinks and community centres, I grew up around the pools – eventually swimming for the Canadian National Team.
There are plenty of other opportunities for kids as well: a fantastic gymnastics club, strong soccer, lacrosse and baseball leagues, horseback riding, arts programs and a year-long schedule of community events, from the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony, to Sun Fest, and the Tour de Delta cycling races. To this day, I enjoy the active, outdoor life South Delta offers on its beaches and trails.
Why you might like to work with me: I’m well-connected in South Delta, so I bring a lot of insider knowledge to your search or sale. I stay a step ahead during transactions to try and relieve some of the pressure, and I’m calm – very calm. I’m like that friend you can rely on to drive while you sleep – I keep my eyes on the road ahead.
Thinking of buying or selling? Give me a call, or send an e-mail or text. I'd love to connect!
